The Barre Code opens studio in Yorktown Center

LOMBARD - The Barre Code, a Chicago-based fitness franchise, is opening a new studio at 228A Yorktown Center in Lombard. The Barre Code brings the area a one-stop shop for cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and restoration. With this program, women can expect to be challenged beyond the physical workout through a powerful formula of empowerment and positivity that builds strength from the inside out.

The 2,400-square-foot space boasts a large studio room, a kid's room for child care, lockers, and changing room complete with a fully stocked vanity area. Remaining details throughout the studio are kept simple and clean, enveloping clients in an inviting atmosphere of inspiration and motivation.

Core classes cover all of the body's needs, from the original "Barre Code," a 50-minute, total-body workout of isometric holds, heavy repetition, and stretching; to "BarRestore," a combination of our barre format coupled with deep stretching and restoration. Empower yourself to reach beyond your physical, mental, and emotional limits on a three-dimensional ride of plyometrics, speedwork, and agility training during the coveted "HIITRestore" class, or focus on full-range-of-motion strength training with our bootcamp-style routine, "TBC (Total Body Conditioning)."

The Barre Code Lombard is open seven days a week. Log onto www.thebarrecode.com to view Lombard's current class schedule and book a reservation.
