Alex and Ani opens in Woodfield

SCHAUMBURG - Alex and Ani, the brand that creates eco-conscious jewelry and accessories, will hold a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. today at its new location at Woodfield Mall.

Among the events scheduled are special appearance and styling tips from Fashion Blogger Farheen Ebrahim from 10 a.m.-noon, free Alex an Ani Precious Thread Bracelets for the first 100 guests in line (a $48 value), a free Alex And Ani Leather Pouchette with a purchase of $75 or more; a live DJ, a complimentary Sugarfina candy bar, a complimentary mimosa bar, and other giveaways.

The Rhode Island-based company uses recycled materials with eco-conscious processes to create its products. Its Charity By Design division has strengthened nonprofit organizations through partnerships and collaborative experiences, resulting in donations of more than $45 million.
