R+K promotes Oakland, hires McClendon, Sikorski

Rhea + Kaiser in Naperville has promoted Chris Oakland to Account Manager, AMP. and hired Sara McClendon and Sarah Sikorski.

Oakland, who joined the agency in December 2015, is now responsible for the day-to-day account management on the Bayer cereals and cotton businesses.

"Chris approaches his work with passion, curiosity and the ability to be flexible and meet deadlines. He has a strong relationship with the client's marketing communications team, having earning their trust leading several initiatives," said Erin Skly, R+K Account Director, AMP.

McClendon joins R+K as Account Manager, Public Relations (PR). She will provide day-to-day PR support for the agency's Bayer account. McClendon has prior agency experience, leading PR projects and customer advocacy programs for Monsanto. She previously served as food drive coordinator for Ozarks Food Harvest. McClendon hails from Buffalo, Mo., and earned a bachelor of science degree in public relations from Missouri State University.

Sikorski comes to the agency as Digital Media Coordinator. She will be responsible for managing digital ad traffic, including media orders, production specifications and traffic reports. Sikorski previously served as an account/traffic coordinator for a Chicago area-based marketing firm. She is a graduate of Columbia College of Chicago, earning a bachelor of arts degree in marketing communications.
