Silver Cross golf event raises $96,500 for new services

NEW LENOX - The Silver Cross Foundation raised $96,500 at the 26th Annual Charity Golf Classic held recently at Crystal Tree Country Club.

A total of 144 golfers came out to support Silver Cross Hospital. Proceeds are going to the Campaign for Health: Investing in our Commitment to Excellence, a three year fund raising effort. This campaign will help fund programs, services, and medical technology used to care for patients.

Among the many donors and sponsors this year, Premier Level sponsors include: Block Electric Company, Brown & Brown Insurance, Cerner, D'Arcy Buick - GMC, EM Strategies, First Community Financial Bank, First Midwest Bank, Illinois Spine & Scoliosis Center, Kurtz Ambulance Service, Low Voltage Solutions, Reed Construction and the Silver Cross Medical Staff and Spring Creek Nursing and Rehab.

"Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, golfers and event volunteers, we are able to continue to provide state-of-the art inpatient and outpatient care at the hospital and throughout the communities we serve," said Larry Johnson, Vice President of the Silver Cross Foundation.
