The students each received a $500 college scholarship from Meyer Wealth Advisors during the high school's recent graduation ceremony. Meyer, a 1971 graduate of East Aurora, awarded these scholarships to these graduates to help them with their business studies at college.
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the St. Charles chamber recently celebrated Confident Aire's second location opening at 504 E. Main St., St. Charles. with Confident Aire's owner Tom Wangler, Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke and U.S. Rep.Peter Roskam.
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated the ribbon cutting ceremony for Mosquito Joe with Brittany Sigler, office manager, and Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke. Mosquito Joe provides mosquito control solutions for residential and commercial properties.
Members of Chamber630 recently welcomed New York Life - Christopher Financial Group to Downers Grove, 2001 Butterfield Road, and owner John Christopher with a ribbon cutting.
The Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce celebrated Baird & Warner Glen Ellyn's grand reopening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Located at 543 Pennsylvania Ave. in Glen Ellyn since 1961, Baird & Warner has been a strong presence in the real estate market in the western suburbs for more than 55 years.
Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Finetix Fitness, 507 S. Third St., in Geneva. Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns and Judy Carroll, chamber membership director, hold the ribbon while owner Ron Anderson cuts the ribbon.
Recently the Oswego Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate Air Dynamics Heating and Cooling's new location in Stonehill Industrial Park. Air Dynamics was also the recipient of the Chamber of Commerce's Splash award this year at the Annual Dinner.
