Discover launches new college planning tool

RIVERWOODS - Discover Student Loans recently launched My College Plan, an online tool that walks students through salaries and earning potential when looking at different schools, majors or careers.

To help students and their families navigate some of the complex decisions as they start to think about their college experience, Discover's My College Plan offers information when students select their institution type and skills they want. It will forecast how those college decisions will impact them while in college as well as after they graduate.

"College requires a big investment, so it is critical that students and families feel confident in their choices and how those decisions could influence their future," said Manny Chagas, vice president of Discover Student Loans.
