Grains mixed and livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery rose 5 cents at $5.0220 bushel; Sept. corn was up 3 cents at $3.50 a bushel; Sept. oats fell 4.20 cents at $2.3020 bushel while July soybeans was off .80 cent at 8.3920 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug. live cattle was up 1 cent at $1.0908 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle gained 1.27 cents at $1.5445 a pound; Aug. lean hogs rose .19 cent at .6792 a pound.
