Grains higher and livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery rose 14.80 cents at $4.9540 a bushel; Jul corn was up 1.60 cents at $3.5560 a bushel; July oats gained 5.20 cents at $2.4140 a bushel while July soybeans advanced 20 cents at $8.8440 a bushel.
Beef was mixedr and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle rose .35 cent at $1.0865 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was off 1.12 cents at $1.4850 a pound; July lean hogs fell 1.08 cents at .8002 a pound.
