Grains higher and livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery advanced 16.40 cents at $5.29 a bushel; Jul corn was up 2.20 cents at $3.8460 a bushel; July oats gained 7.40 cents at $2.4760 a bushel while July soybeans rose 6.80 cents at $10.0440 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle rose 2 cents at $1.0852 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was up 1.25 cents at $1.4675 a pound; June lean hogs gained 1.28 cents at .7798 a pound.
