Grains higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 9 cents at $4.88 a bushel; Jul corn was up 9 cents at $3.96 a bushel; July oats rose 6 cents at $2.3860 a bushel while Jul soybeans went up 3.2 cents at $10.1040 a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was down 3.2 cents at $1.0272 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 2.78 cents at $1.3417 a pound; June lean hogs rose 9.3 cents at .7467 a pound.
