Grains mostly lower and livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 4.60 cents at $4.7460 a bushel; May corn was up .60 cent at $3.8820 a bushel; May oats was off .40 cents at $2.3860 a bushel while May soybeans lost .60 cents at $10.5460 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 1.92 cents at $1.1622 a pound; Apr feeder cattle gained 2.68 cents at $1.3920 a pound; April lean hogs was up .34 cent at .5412 a pound.
