Authorities: Body pulled from White River in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities say a body has been pulled from the White River in Indianapolis.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says conservation officers and Indianapolis police are investigating after the body was found Thursday under Westfield Bridge near the Monon Trail. A person had called police after spotting the body.

The body wasn't immediately identified. Details about cause of death weren't immediately released, pending the results of an autopsy.
