Seniors shine as No. 18 USF women top Cincy 84-65

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Maria Jespersen had 26 points and a season-high 16 rebounds on Senior Day and classmate Laia Flores had 12 assists and they picked up a record 99th win of their career with an 84-65 romp over Cincinnati on Saturday.

Kitija Laska added 22 points for the Bulls (24-5, 13-2 American Athletic Conference), who take a nine-game winning streak into their season finale at No. 1 UConn on Monday. Laura Ferreira had 12 points and eight assists. Jespersen moved within 12 rebounds of fifth on the career list and Flores is 10 assists away from matching her single-season record of 200.

Down one early in the second quarter, Jespersen scored eight points as USF went on a 22-8 run to lead 43-30 at the half. An early 12-3 run had the lead over 20 in the third quarter.

Ana Owens had 15 points and Antoinette Miller 14 for Cincinnati (17-11, 9-6).
