Utah's 37-point 3rd QT finishes Washington in 81-46 blowout

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Tori Williams scored 29 points including seven 3-pointers and Utah overwhelmed Washington in the third quarter on its way to an 81-46 pasting of Washington on Sunday.

The Utes led 24-23 at intermission but emerged from the break and outscored the Huskies 37-6 in the third on 14-of-18 shooting (78 percent) including 5-of-5 from beyond the 3-point arc. Washington missed 13 of 14 from the field and all five of its 3-point attempts. Utah had runs of 9-0, 7-0, and 19-0, and was up 61-29 entering the fourth.

Williams finished shooting 11 of 13, and her seven 3s tied a Huntsman Center record for made 3s. Emily Potter scored 18 with 16 rebounds and Megan Huff scored 16. Utah (17-10, 8-8 Pac-12) shot 30 of 55 from the field and 10 of 20 from 3-point range and amassed a 49-26 rebounding advantage.

Amber Melgoza led Washington (7-20, 1-5) with 27 points.
