Grains mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was rose 5.40 cents at $4.5940 a bushel; March corn was up 1.80 cents at $3.6820 bushel; March oats was off 1.60 cents at $2.6560 a bushel while January soybeans gained 2.20 cents at $10.2020 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was up .55 cent at $1.2905 a pound; March feeder cattle rose .58 cent at $1.4968 a pound; February lean hogs were off 1.65 cents at $.6870 a pound.
