Greg Bouris quits as spokesman for baseball players' union
NEW YORK (AP) - Greg Bouris has resigned as director of communications for the Major League Baseball Players Association after 19 years.
Bouris told the union on Monday he was leaving.
Union head Tony Clark says in a statement Tuesday that "he was a consummate communications professional, who handled his duties with the utmost professionalism, dedication, and commitment."
Bouris worked previously at SportsChannel, the Florida Panthers, the New York Islanders and 1800flowers.
