I am a 2nd generation family immigrant from Croatia (exYugoslavia). My Grandfather worked at Barber-Greene as a highly skilled machinist. Illinois equipment manufacturing companies would benefit with more immigrants like him A H1B visa for all immigrant applicants. The H1B visa classification permits a foreign national to work in the United States for a defined period. The American drama caused by Barack Obama's DACA Executive Order bypasses U.S. Congress legislative prerogative as required to providing taxpayer funding and is a particular profound example of Democrats indigestible malfeasance brinkmanship... like a child conniving to selfish goals. That there are these people living in America, brought to United States without malice, are productive in value to America. Misguided efforts to award them U.S. Citizenship is premature compared to their being legally conferred as a Ãâ#128;™Registered InhabitantÃâ#128;œ. I married a Croatian born national, we had no interest in her achieving U.S. Citizenship. For her to transit in and out of America, was our only desire., not U.S. Citizenship to vote. Stop Dreaming... Get real! As U.S. Representative from Illinois, I will pursuit U.S. Federal legislation that will provide Registered Inhabitant designation to persons that willfully volunteered themselves to DACA scrutiny.What military or diplomatic roles should the United States play to promote peace and stability in the Mideast? Under what circumstances should we have military forces actively operating?Continued U.S. Navy operations on international waters are most appropriate to promote peace and stability in the Middle East. Americas ships at sea must not be political pawns in negotiations with demonic unstable governments.What should the United States be doing to reduce the threat of potential nuclear conflict from North Korea?There is more Korean peninsula ego involved than threat of potential nuclear conflict. Allow North Korea and South Korea sufficient negotiating space to locally mitigate their cultural tensions. The U.S. has certainly been the adult parent figure in the international room full of squabbling childish governments. Yet, our objective should be to promote such countries to tame their insecure rhetoric and decide to be trading countries thus becoming more financially dependent on each other. United States and Soviet Union had the nuclear conflict over Cuba. Discombobulation was achieved because the alternative was insanity. Even in Korea, however insane the level of egos, with China downwind from the quagmire, nuclear destruction will simply be unacceptable. The U.S. Department of State certainly has a Ãcirc;#144; good as can be ascertained Ãcirc;#144; overview of all the political actors rhetoric. However these actors are emotionally crazy, they are not not overtly insidiously stupid.How would you describe the effectiveness of Congress today? If you think Congress needs to be more effective, what would you do to promote that?U.S. Congress is evolving from a partisan duopoly into a multitude opinion strategy government. Democrats are steadfast the partisan political party of Ãâ#128;™NOÃâ#128;œ. U.S. Congressional Democrats constantly press Americans patience with indigestible malfeasance brinkmanship... like a child conniving to selfish goals. Republicans have become the political party of multiple motivations that greatly reflect the multiple motivations of Americas citizens and diversity of learned voters. This is a transition time for America, yet there is nothing to alarm, nothing to fear. The beginning of something usually requires the end of something else and there are definitely some things that we desire to end. Once we acknowledge that desire, we must revile against doing what we have always been doing. Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability. Change comes through continuous struggle. Far greater concern and focus for Illinois voters is the General Assembly in Springfield. Here is Democrats perfection of indigestible malfeasance brinkmanship... like a child's sinister self destructive scheming. Finally, Governor Rauner said he'll push legislation to ban lawmakers from doing property tax appeals legal work and that in the interim he'll pursue that through an executive order. It could also be called the Ãâ#128;™Stop House Speaker MICHAEL MADIGAN's Outside Source of Income Act of 2018.Ãâ#128;œ Because make no mistake about it, this was aimed directly at Madigan, whose law practice involves handling property tax appeals for big-time property owners in Chicago's Loop. Core corruption of the state of Illinois that's been going on for decades.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Ãâ#128;™Let's Make Illinois Great Again.Ãâ#128;œ Illinois Primary Election restricts voters to candidates of a particular political party. Certainly, it is appropriate that political parties have only their party registered voters select their partisan candidates. But NOT with taxpayers paying for the political party's selection process. In all current Primary Elections, taxpayers are financing the process for political parties to determine their anointed candidate. Even worse than Illinois, California ballots are printed in five languages - in the most populated state in US - the cost to taxpayers is a heinous offense. Eliminate the taxpayer financed political party Primary Election by requiring political parties to consecrate their anointed candidate by their own internal controlled caucus nomination process. The political parties part_z_n can celebrate their bath-house wonk-fest candidate nomination process to themselves. In the November General Election [when determining our elected officials voting is serious and for real] the electorate need and deserve ALL candidates on the ballot the partisan anointed candidates, AND the partisan (bi-partisan moderate) candidates, AND nonpartisan Independent candidates achieved by realistic voter signature nomination process. In a pragmatic General Election process for ALL VIABLE CANDIDATES, the voters "grade" all the candidates from their first choice favorite candidate all the way down to their condemnation of the most repugnant candidate.
