ICYMI: Chicago State found its way into the record book
NEW YORK (AP) - It's been two years since Chicago State last won a game.
The Cougars set the Division I women's record with their 59th consecutive loss on Saturday falling to Grand Canyon 59-43. Chicago State broke the mark set by Brooklyn from 1987-89. The team's last win came on Feb. 4, 2016, against Seattle.
Chicago State still has a long way to go before setting the overall futility mark in NCAA women's basketball. Division III Schreiner lost 83 straight from 2002-05.
While the Cougars can't find a victory, UConn and Mississippi State still haven't lost this year. The top two teams in the poll are the only unbeatens left in Division I basketball.
Top-ranked UConn's next real challenge comes on Feb. 12 against No. 4 Louisville. The No. 2 Mississippi State Bulldogs host seventh-ranked South Carolina on Monday night.

POLL WATCH: N.C. State is playing like one of the best teams' in the country lately, with seven consecutive wins. The Wolfpack knocked off No. 10 Florida State this past week and should enter the Top 25 this week.
NCAA REVEAL: For the second time this season, the NCAA women's basketball committee unveiled the top 16 teams on Monday to that point in the season. It was a snapshot of the NCAA Tournament. Soon after the reveal, a few of the top teams lost. The NCAA will do one more unveiling before the NCAA field is announced March 12.
NO PANIC: No. 13 Michigan has dropped two straight games for the first time all season, but coach Kim Barnes Arico isn't worried.
"Every team goes through this," she said after a loss to Rutgers on Sunday. "Now you got to keep your confidence and we have to get better, but let's not lose our mind. We lost two games. The world isn't coming to an end. Let's regroup and figure out how to get better."
