Grains mostly lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was lost 1.20 cents at $4.4540 a bushel; March corn was off .60 cent at $3.6040 bushel; March oats was up 1.80 cent at $2.6820 a bushel while January soybeans fell 5.20 cents at $9.79 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was up .25 cents at $1.2648 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 2.55 cents at $1.4785 a pound; February lean hogs gained .65 cent at $.7475 a pound.
