Michigan women's soccer coach Greg Ryan won't return

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Michigan has announced that women's soccer coach Greg Ryan will not return next season.

Ryan, who coached the U.S. women's national team at the 2007 World Cup, recently finished his 10th season at the helm in Ann Arbor. He went 103-64-36.

Michigan announced his departure Thursday night. The Wolverines went 6-6-6 last season, 3-5-3 in Big Ten play.

Ryan says he's enjoyed his time at Michigan and looks forward to his next professional opportunity.
