Troy elevates offensive assistants Moore, Reagan

TROY, Ala. (AP) - Troy coach Neal Brown has promoted two of his offensive assistants, including new offensive coordinator Matt Moore.

Brown announced the promotions Thursday. Moore will still coach the offensive line.

Sean Reagan will be quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator.

Moore was nominated for the Broyles Award for the nation's top assistant in 2016. He has been co-offensive coordinator for the past three seasons and his line allowed a national-low eight sacks in 2016.

He replaces Kenny Edenfield, who left to become South Alabama's offensive coordinator.

Reagan has been Troy's quarterbacks coach since 2011 and has also worked with the running backs the past three seasons.

Troy has won 22 of its last 27 games dating back to the 2015 season.
