Barcelona midfielder Turan to play for Istanbul Basaksehir

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) - Arda Turan will play on loan with Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir in a deal covering 2 ˆ½ seasons, Barcelona said Saturday.
Turkey midfielder Turan joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid, and scored 15 goals in 55 games.
He signed in the summer of 2015 but couldn't debut until 2016 because Barcelona was serving a FIFA ban for registering new players.
The 30-year-old Turan posted a goodbye letter on social media, saying that "being a Barcelona player was the wildest dream I had."
