Colorado women cruise to 79-60 win over Arizona

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Alexis Robinson scored 18 points and Kennedy Leonard added 16 points while dishing out 10 assists to lead Colorado past Arizona for a 79-60 win Sunday.

It was Leonard's second double-double of the season. Annika Jank contributed 15 points for Colorado (10-3, 1-1 Pac-12), which tied a season high with 11 3-pointers.

Trailing early in the first quarter, Colorado overtook Arizona with a 14-3 run to go up 16-10 and never trailed again. Leonard had the go-ahead 3-pointer during the run.

Arizona (4-9, 0-2) trimmed the deficit to single digits in the third quarter but got no closer than nine points on JaLea Bennett's free throw with 4:36 left in the period before Colorado pulled away again. Colorado went scoreless over the game's final 3:42 and Arizona closed it out with a 6-0 spurt.

Sam Thomas and JaLea Bennett had 18 points apiece to lead Arizona and Destiny Graham added 12 points.
