Chicago firefighters rescue man from clothing donation box

CHICAGO (AP) - A man has been rescued after getting stuck inside a clothing donation box on Chicago's Near North Side.

The Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times report that firefighters pulled the man from the box about 3:50 a.m. Thursday.

Officials said it was not immediately clear why the man was in the box. He was not injured.

The Tribune describes the donation box as being about six feet tall and several feet wide. It is located on a sidewalk.
