Carter scores school-record 46 points for No. 19 Texas A&M

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Freshman Chennedy Carter made a jumper from the baseline with 9 seconds left for the last of her school-record 46 points in No. 19 Texas A&M's 75-74 victory over Southern California on Friday night.

Carter scored 15 points in the first quarter on 6-of-8 shooting and finished 17 of 28 from the field for the Aggies (9-2).

USC's Aliyah Mazyck missed a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left but it didn't fall. Sadie Edwards had 20 points for USC (8-1), and Kristen Simon added 18.

NO. 22 SOUTH FLORIDA 108, SOUTHERN 48

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Kitija Laksa made 11 3-pointers and scored 40 points - both career highs - to help South Florida beat Southern.

Laksa made 11 straight 3s after missing on her first attempt, and added six rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots and two steals for the Bulls (8-2). She was 13 of 16 from the field overall and made all three of her free throws.

Laia Flores had with 14 points, 11 assists and six rebounds, and Alyssa Rader added 13 points and with six rebounds. Briana Green led the Jaguars (1-7) with 18 points and five rebounds.

NO. 13 OHIO STATE 103, DARTMOUTH 70

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Kelsey Mitchell scored 22 points and No. 13 Ohio State scored 33 straight points to rout Dartmouth.

The Buckeyes (10-2) led 58-51 with four minutes left in the third quarter and extended to 91-51 on Makayla Waterman's free throw with 6:30 left in the game. The Big Green (7-3) missed nine straight shots and committed seven turnovers during the stretch.

Sierra Calhoun added 20 points for Ohio State, Stephanie Mavunga had 18 points and 14 rebounds, and Linnae Harper scored 16 points. Andi Norman had 23 points for Dartmouth, and Kate Letkewicz added 22.
