Grains mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was off 1 cent at $4.18 a bushel; March corn fell 2.40 cents 3.47 a bushel; March oats rose 1.20 cents at $2.5460 a bushel while January soybeans lost 4 cents higher at $9.6820 a bushel.

Beef mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was up .53 cent at $1.1688 a pound; January feeder cattle was off .27 cent at $1.4573 a pound; February lean hogs was up 3.95 cents at $.6790 a pound.
