New Mexico State: Rogers passed for 451 yards and led the late drive that earned the Aggies a 22-17 win over South Alabama on Saturday, earning the school its first bowl game in 57 years in the process. New Mexico State won its final two games of the season to end its bowl drought.

Utah State: The Aggies were a football-only member of the Sun Belt Conference from 2003-04, and they played New Mexico State both seasons. The schools have been conference foes for 26 seasons while each were members of the Mountain West Conference, Sun Belt and Western Athletic Conference over the years.
