Grains lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec. delivery was off 5 cents at $4.3520 a bushel; Dec corn fell 3.60 cents 3.5040 a bushel; December oats lost 6.40 cents at $2.71 a bushel while Nov. soybeans was down 5.20 cents at $9.77 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was off .43 cent at $1.1315 a pound; October feeder cattle was up .07 cent at $1.5505 a pound; December lean hogs rose .35 cent at $.6440 a pound.
