Stoke drops into bottom 3 after losing to Bournemouth in EPL

STOKE, England (AP) - Stoke has been sucked into the English Premier League relegation zone after two goals within 133 seconds saw it lose to fellow struggler Bournemouth 2-1 on Saturday .

Bournemouth lost each of its four away fixtures, but Andrew Surman's opener was swiftly followed by a Junior Stanislas penalty, awarded after Ryan Shawcross tripped Benik Afobe.

Stoke pulled one back in the second period through Mame Diouf but could not find the equalizer and dropped into the bottom three following a run of one win from eight games in all competitions.

Bournemouth moved to within a point of Stoke and three other sides, which also have eight points but have better goal differences than Stoke's.
