AEK beats Olympiakos 3-2, stays top in Greece

ATHENS, Greece (AP) - AEK came back from 2-0 down to beat defending champion Olympiakos 3-2 Sunday in the Greek league.

Petros Mantalos scored the winner in the 89th, six minutes after Olympiakos coach Besnik Hasi was dismissed for dissent.

Olympiakos went ahead through Marko Marin in the 22nd, and Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe doubled the lead in the 46th.

Lazaros Christodoulopoulos started the comeback in the 64th and equalized for AEK in the 80th with a blistering free kick from 35 meters (yards).

The game was stopped for 15 minutes in the 70th after players had breathing problems when police used tear gas outside the stadium to contain some AEK fans.

AEK is two points ahead of PAOK and Panionios.

PAOK beat Giannena 1-0, and Panionios defeated Larissa 4-1.

Olympiakos is five points behind AEK in fourth place.
