Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept delivery was 7 cents higher at $5.1860 a bushel; Sept corn was up 7.20 cents at $3.77 a bushel; Sept oats gained 9.60 cents at $285.40 a bushel while July soybeans gained 12.40 cents to $9.85 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was .05 cent higher at $1.1748 a pound; August feeder cattle was down .20 cent at $1.5283 pound; July lean hogs lost .05 cent to $.9270 a pound.
