QUOTE OF THE DAY

LOOKAHEAD TO MONDAY

All eyes will be on defending champion Novak Djokovic, whose first match since partnering with Andre Agassi will come against Marcel Granollers. Djokovic won his fourth consecutive major title - and completed a career Grand Slam in the process - a year ago at Roland Garros. But he's struggled since and, after parting ways with coach Boris Becker, then dumping the rest of his support team, he enlisted eight-time major champion Agassi to try his hand at a bit of coaching in Paris. The 2016 women's champ, Garbine Muguruza, will also be in action, facing 2010 French Open winner Francesca Schiavone. Others of interest in action on Day 2 include nine-time champion Rafael Nadal against Benoit Paire, up-and-coming 20-year-old Alexander Zverev against Fernando Verdasco, and No. 2-seeded Karolina Pliskova, the U.S. Open runner-up last year, against Zheng Saisai.

MONDAY'S FORECAST

Light showers, wind at up to 12 mph (20 kph). High of 82 degrees (28 Celsius).
