Tulane women's tennis coach resigns

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Tulane has opened a national search for a new coach for its women's tennis program after Terri Sisk announced she will not return next season.

The university, in a news release, said Sisk announced her resignation Friday.

Sisk's teams posted winning records in three of the last five years. In nine seasons at the helm of the program, she posted a 120-75 overall record.

Prior to her tenure at Tulane, Sisk spent the previous five seasons as the head coach at Samford where she led the Bulldogs to a pair of Ohio Valley Conference Tournament titles in 2004 and 2006, as well as one regular-season crown in 2007.
