Aurora police seek information about shooting

Aurora police are seeking information about how a 20-year-old man was shot Thursday night.

The man was dropped off at a hospital by a woman and man after the shooting around 7:40 p.m. Thursday at Sherman Avenue and Pearl Street, but police said all three were largely uncooperative when questioned.

The man suffered a single gunshot wound that was not life-threatening, authorities said.

Police believe the shots were fired by someone in an aqua or teal four-door vehicle similar to a Lincoln that was occupied by three black males.

An unoccupied car that was parked in the area was also hit by gunfire.

Those with information are asked to call police at (630) 256-5500.
