Softball: Guercio's homers help Lake Zurich roll

Amanda Guercio hit her sixth and seventh home runs of the season, driving in 5 runs, and Lake Zurich's softball team beat host Lake Forest 16-4 in North Suburban Conference action Thursday.
Freshman Elizabeth Chialdikas belted her second homer and finished 3-for-4, and Megan Croke went 3-for-3 for Lake Zurich (6-5, 3-1). Jessica Puccinelli added a pair of doubles and 3 RBI, and Sarah Schnecker also doubled for the Bears. Stephanie Keefe (3-1) allowed 2 earned runs in 5 innings for the win.
