Break-in at Arlington Heights sporting goods store
Four masked suspects broke into Dick's Sporting Goods in Arlington Heights early Thursday and stole $8,000 worth of apparel, police said.
The suspects pried open the doors to gain entry to the store at 401 E. Palatine Road at 4:37 a.m., according to a crime alert. They took several items of men's and women's Nike Elite clothing before fleeing the scene. Surveillance video showed the four suspects covered head-to-toe in black clothing, but didn't capture a vehicle.
