PCC Announces Official Launch of Suburban Network on Apr. 25

The Publicity Club of Chicago, a 76-year-old professional organization, is expanding its connection beyond Chicago to reach communications and marketing professionals in the suburbs.

The kick off of the new network will become official at a PCC launch party/ networking event on Tuesday, April 25 from 4:30-6:30 pm at Tap House Grill in Des Plaines, IL.

The launch event will provide a social atmosphere with an opportunity to network with other suburban communications professionals. Additionally, the PCC's 2017 suburban programming schedule will be announced.

"Traditionally, PCC's efforts have been concentrated around the downtown area, and as a result, much of our membership represents Chicago businesses," said Donna Lake, PCC board member and Suburban Co-Chair. "However, there are increasingly more communications professionals in the suburbs who can benefit from the education and networking opportunities we offer. It is our goal to make it easier for them to connect with us."

Attendees will enjoy light appetizers and beverages for a minimal fee: $15 for PCC members; $20 for non-PCC members, and everyone will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of several prizes including gift cards, a book, and a free admission to an upcoming PCC Suburban event. Those who bring a friend will receive two prize drawing entries.

Tap House Grill is located at 1472 Market St., Suite A-103 in Des Plaines near the Metra stop. Ample on-street and garage parking also is available.
