Mundelein's baseball team remained undefeated (12-0, 4-0 North Suburban Conference) after a 5-2 victory over Stevenson on Wednesday.
Winning pitcher Brendan Murphy rolled up 9 strikeouts over six innings.
Drew Breitenreiter and Murphy each had 2 hits for the Mustangs while Jeff Morton added a double.
Glenbrook South 10, Carmel 4: Drew Wiegman and Lukas Galdoni each had 2 hits for Carmel.
Lakes 4, Wauconda 2: Quin McQuade had 3hits and Stephen Mogged had a double and drove in 2 runs as Lakes got a Northern Lake County Conference win.
John Herbst had 2 hits for Wauconda.
Lake Zurich 1, Zion-Benton 0: Winning pitcher Matt Svanson had 8 strikeouts in six innings for Lake Zurich.
Grayslake Central 10, Round Lake 0: Winning pitcher Justin Wold fanned 10 batters over 5 innings allowing only an infield single as the host Rams got the shutout.
Grayslake Central had only 5 hits, led by Tony Neuman who had a double and 2 RBI.
For the 2nd day in a row, Clayton Bloemke added a 2-RBI single.
