Talk show host and author Stephen Arterburn to give keynote address at Judson spring commencement

Judson University has announced that TV and radio host and best-selling author Stephen "Steve" Arterburn will deliver the keynote address for spring commencement ceremonies at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6.

Arterburn is the founder and chairman of New Life Ministries and host of the top-rated Christian counseling talk show, "New Life Live!" The nationally syndicated show is viewed and heard by millions each weekday on Sirius XM Radio, the NRB television network and on more than 200 radio stations nationwide.

Arterburn also is host of New Life TV (tv.newlife.com), a web-based channel. In 1996, he also launched the first Women of Faith conference. To date, more than 5,000,000 people have attended the conferences.

As a renowned speaker, Arberburn has been featured in national media by Oprah, Good Morning America, CNN Live, The New York Times, USA Today, GQ magazine and others. He has spoken at major events for National Center for Fathering, American Association of Christian Counselors, Promise Keepers Canada, Life Well Conferences in Australia and The Salvation Army, to name a few. He is also a National Speakers Association Hall of Fame inductee.

Since 1984, Arterburn has written about God's transformational truth. He is a best-selling author of books such as "Every Man's Battle," "Healing Is A Choice," "Toxic Faith" and his latest books, "Take Your Life Back," "The 7-Minute Marriage Solution," "The Book of Life Recovery" and "Is This The One?"

He has been nominated for numerous writing awards and won three Gold Medallions for writing excellence. Along with Dr. Dave Stoop, he edited and produced the award-winning "Life Recovery Bible." In all, he has more than 10 million books in print.

Arterburn has degrees from Baylor University and the University of North Texas as well as two honorary doctorate degrees and is currently completing his doctoral studies in Christian Counseling.
