Winning images of our weekly photo contest

Baseball season!As an employee of the Chicago Cubs, I spend a good deal of time at Wrigley Field. This photo of the iconic ballpark was taken in the middle of summer, a few hours before game time. As I walked through an upper corridor, I came to face a TV camera ready to broadcast. The double view of the Friendly Confines caught my attention and I took a few quick photos. Recently, I spent some time manipulating this image: keeping the sharply focused view in the camera in full color and relegating the softly blurred field to black & white for contrast.
