Grain lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was 7 cents lower at $4.21 a bushel; May corn was down 5 cents at $3.5840 a bushel; May oats was down 3.80 cents at $2.1720 a bushel while May soybeans fell 4.40 cents to $9.40 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was 1.23 cents higher at $1.1825 a pound; April feeder cattle was up 2.60 cents at $1.3303 pound; April lean hogs lost .25 cent to $.6348 a pound.
