Grain lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was 1.60 cents lower at $4.28 a bushel; May corn was down 1.20 cents at $3.6340 a bushel; May oats was down 1.40 cents at $2.21 a bushel while May soybeans gained .20 cent to $9.4440 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was .03 cent lower at $1.1825 a pound; April feeder cattle was down .10 cent at $1.3043 pound; April lean hogs gained .10 cent to $.6373 a pound.
