Buffalo Grove manager Bragg earns recognition

Buffalo Grove Village Manager Dane Bragg recently received the Credentialed Manager designation from the International City/County Management Association in recognition of his significant experience as a senior management executive in local government and demonstrated commitment to high standards of integrity.

Bragg is one of more than 1,400 local government management professionals currently credentialed through the ICMA Voluntary Credentialing Program.

"Mr. Bragg is an outstanding village manager. His past and present accomplishments speak for themselves. He has most certainly fulfilled ICMA's mission," Village President Beverly Sussman said in a news release.

Prior to his appointment in 2010 as village manager of Buffalo Grove, Bragg served as city manager of Galesburg and assistant city manager in Decatur. He also has served on various state and national association committees and conference panels on subjects ranging from finance to economic development and infrastructure planning.
