Caring for students is year-round job

The direction of this great country and our local communities is being developed within our schools, right at this moment.

District 211 has done a tremendous job developing intellectual talents and career readiness skills. More than this, however, the district's schools develop and foster caring students with character.

This must be our call: To elect school board members who will continue to foster character within our students founded on truly celebrating every unique strength, interest and difference among all our students.

Board of Education candidates LeFevre, Klimkowicz and Yung have demonstrated actual service that values and delivers supportive environments for all students. Yard signs do not deliver care and support that our students need today. Our school district needs compassionate and kind board members interested first and foremost in students.

I strongly urge you to remember that care for students is a year-round commitment, 365 days a year. Remember 365. When you go to vote for the District 211 school board, vote for candidate #3 LeFevre, #6 Yung and #5 Klimkowicz.
