Riverside Foundation Hearts of Gold Gala on Saturday, April 22

Riverside Foundation's annual Hearts of Gold gala will be held on Saturday, April 22 at the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort. The festive evening raises funds for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and directly benefits the not-for-profit community-based organization. Riverside operates a residential facility in Lincolnshire, small group homes in Grayslake and Gurnee and a work and activity center in Vernon Hills.

The black-tie optional evening includes cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, music by "Maggie Speaks," a grand raffle and a variety of unique live and silent auction items and experiences.

Riverside Foundation's 2017 Distinguished Service Award will be presented to Adlai E. Stevenson High School. At the gala, Ted Goergen, Director of Student Activities, and Brett Erdmann, Community Service Coordinator, will be recognized for their roles in the Adlai E. Stevenson High School Project Dance Marathon benefiting Riverside Foundation. "It is a pleasure to honor Adlai E. Stevenson High School for their generous and continued support of Riverside." said Deborah Rogers, executive director of Riverside Foundation.

2017 Gala Corporate/Foundation Sponsors supporting the event include Allstate Insurance Company, Baxter Credit Union, RumChata Foundation and Wintrust Financial Corporation.

Gala tickets are $200 per person. For more information, call 847-634-3973 or visit riversidefoundation.net.
