Surveillance images show Arlington Heights armed robbery suspects

Arlington Heights police released surveillance images Tuesday of two men who robbed an auto title and payday loan business over the weekend.

Police responded just after 10 a.m. Saturday to a call about the holdup at Illinois Title Loans, 822. W. Northwest Highway. The two men, wearing hoods and black ski masks with the eyes and mouth exposed, entered the building and demanded money. One of the suspects was armed with a silver semiautomatic handgun, authorities said.

After taking about $100 in cash in a white bag, they fled before police arrived. No injuries were reported.

The suspect holding the gun was described by police as a black man, standing 6' to 6'2”, with a medium build, and wearing blue jeans and tan boots. The other suspect was a black man, standing 6', with a thin build, wearing a black jacket, white gloves, dark pants and white shoes.
