Consumers Credit Union elects 4 to board

WAUKEGAN - Consumers Credit Union members recently elected four people to the union's board of directors for 2017.

The newly-elected directors are incumbents Denise Charts of Libertyville and John Janezic of Green Oaks; as well as newcomers Scott Drabicki of Vernon Hills and Spiridoula Mavrothalasitis of Chicago.

Nearly 300 members and guests attended the 87th annual meeting at Key Lime Cove Resort in Gurnee. They received an update on the member-owned credit union's performance from the 2016 year, copies of the 2016 Annual Report and CEO Sean M. Rathjen's vision of where Consumers Credit Union is headed in 2017 and beyond.

"The amount of support Consumers Credit Union has from our Membership was once again reflected by the outstanding attendance at our annual meeting," said Rathjen. "The high level of actively engaged Members makes it a privilege to work at CCU. The management team is very excited to begin work with our newly elected board of directors."

CCU's Executive Committee for the coming year was selected on Thursday, March 23, the first regular monthly Board Meeting following the annual meeting. The Member-owned credit union's Executive Committee (pictured left to right, below) now consists of Ann Campanella, Vice-Chair; Alice Clements, Treasurer; John R. Janezic, Chairman; Joseph M. Rajcevich, Chair of the Supervisory Committee; and Denise Charts, Secretary.
