Girls soccer: Bartlett blanks Streamwood

Bartlett's girls soccer team exploded for 5 goals in the second half Monday and defeated Streamwood 6-0 in an Upstate Eight crossover game.

Tabitha Evans led the way with a hat trick for the Hawks (3-1) while Maddie Donnelly, Makenna Hughes and Sarah Jurek registered goals. Holly Gura, Jenna Dombrowski and Jessica Mirsky each dished 2 assists and goalkeeper Teagan Noesen needed just 1 save in goal to preserve the shutout.

Streamwood slipped to 0-3 with the loss.

Jacobs 1, South Elgin 0: A header by sophomore Baylee Vincent was the only goal the Golden Eagles (2-2) needed in this nonconference win over the Storm (1-1-1).
