Kids can meet the Easter Bunny at Geneva Commons

The Easter Bunny is making his way along the Randall Road corridor to the Geneva Commons mall next month.

On weekends in April, the big bunny will be at the mall ready to greet and visit with children of all ages.

The Easter Bunny will have treats for every child that comes to see him, either as he's hopping around the mall or when he is inside his little picture garden, where kids can visit with him and have their photos taken. Don't forget to bring your camera.

The Easter Bunny's garden is near the Learning Express Toys store, which is near Dick's Sporting Goods.

The bunny will be at the mall Saturday, April 8; Sunday, April 9; and then again Saturday, April 15, the day before Easter.

You will find him hopping around from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. those days, and he will be in his photo garden from 2 to 5 p.m.

Free stuff:

If you're shopping at the Geneva Commons mall before or after your visit to the Easter Bunny, you will want to save your receipts.

If you spend $75 or more at the mall's stores and restaurants, you can get a free pashmina scarf.

You need to bring your receipts, which must be dated March 29 or later, to the Amy's Hallmark store, which is next to Tilly's.

Supplies of the scarves are limited, and the promotion is for one scarf giveaway per customer.

More shopping benefits:

If you are shopping at the Algonquin Commons mall to the north along the Randall Road corridor, you also will want to save your receipts.

Anyone who spends $250 or more at the mall will have a chance to win a $250 gift certificate to Algonquin Commons.

However, if you are planning to spend that much for the contest, you will want to do it soon. The I Shop at Algonquin Commons contest ends March 31.

As part of the contest, you need to save your receipts to the mall's restaurants and stores that total $250 or more.

Once you have them together, you should head to the mall's office, where you can enter to win the gift card. Winners will be drawn after March 31.

Shoppers must be 18 or older to enter the contest.
