Naperville police release photo of armed robbery suspect
Naperville police have released surveillance photos of the man who they believe robbed a nail salon Saturday evening and stole an SUV at gunpoint.
Police said the man entered the business on the 900 block of east Ogden Avenue at 6:26 p.m. and showed a semiautomatic handgun before taking an undisclosed amount of cash and a black 2004 Volvo SUV. He was seen driving east on Ogden Avenue in the stolen vehicle. Police have not yet located the SUV.
The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s, standing about 5 feet, 8 inches and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing all white clothes, including a hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at (630) 420-6666 and ask for the investigations division.
